Lifestyle newborn sessions are all about documenting the first days with your baby in a way that feels natural and relaxed. These sessions focus on real moments — the snuggles on the couch, tiny stretches, and the way your family naturally gathers around your newest little love. My goal is to capture your family’s connection while preserving all the tiny details you never want to forget. Most newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your home so everyone can feel relaxed, though a studio can also be rented if you prefer. We’ll capture the whole family interacting naturally while also taking time for a few sweet images that focus just on baby.

Tasha came over to our house to take newborn photos just 6 days after we welcomed our first baby. While parenthood was clearly new to us, photography and parenthood were obvious not new to her! She made us feel at ease with our fussy baby, worked well to position us to match our vision, and produced amazing photos for us to forever cherish! Babies set the schedule. We’ll take our time for feeding, cuddles, and diaper changes, so nothing is rushed. Studio sessions are 1 hour due to hourly rental fees.

I edit every photo, but I keep things natural and true to you. I don’t use Photoshop, and retouching stays minimal. If there’s something specific you’d like touched up, like acne, a bruise, or a scrape, just let me know!
